Manchester commercialisation experts, PinPointer, have announced agreements to enliven space throughout three destination locations in the North West, Birmingham and Scotland.
PinPointer Place and Commercialisation Manager, Lisa Smith commented: “We’re delighted to be adding the Wheatsheaf Shopping Centre of Rochdale and its town centre spaces to our North West locations.
Rochdale is stepped in retail history, with one of Britain’s earliest consumer co-operatives formed in the town. The co-operative’s passion for providing a quality mixed offering in a welcoming environment lives on in the Wheatsheaf, and we look forward to evolving this proposition.”
Wheatsheaf Centre Manager, Mark Foxley, commented: “It’s an exciting time for Rochdale town centre and the Wheatsheaf, we are welcoming new tenants and the adjacent Riverside development opens next year. We are off to a great start with our new partners PinPointer.”
Announcing the PinPointer and Wheatsheaf Shopping Centre commercialisation partnership are (from L-R): PinPointer Place and Commercialisation Manager, Lisa Smith and Mark Foxley, Wheatsheaf Centre Manager.
Further additions to the portfolio include Perth city centre and Northfield town centre where space enlivening brand placements will drive revenue.
Founder and Managing Director of PinPointer, Alison Bowcott-McGrath, concluded: “Tailored placemaking is the future for our UK centres. We need to support our bricks and mortar retailers by helping build the ‘soul’ of our destinations.
We’re thrilled to be strengthening the sense of purpose within these locations to drive shopper footfall and repeat visits.”
